My Family

Hi My name is Margie Nottle-Justice,

I live on six acres in a small community called Callington in South Australia with my husband of 25 years and my 21 year old daughter, Stacey. We share our home with five standard poodles, a papillon, a sulpher crested cockatoo and our cat.

My husband Wayne, has his own concreting business and has taken on the "Can't beat them join them" attitude and loves the dogs as much as I do.

He doesn't have time for any of his hobbies as he is always too busy building kennels and runs for me.

My first involvement with poodles came in 1990 with a toy poodle I acquired called Ziggy. I then started going to the Poodle Club pet Fun Days where I first saw standard poodles, which then started my love for the breed.

I promised myself I would get one one day.

Two years later my dream came true with the purchase of a black standard bitch who we named Munchie. Munchie was purely a companion dog but went on to become a fantastic performer in the Pal Superdog Team. A regular crowd pleaser.

Twelve months later I caught the showing bug so I purchased my first show dog, a black maleCh. Montrejeau Bite the Bullet, "Remmi".

After that they came thick and fast. I have titled five show champions to date and I am now campaigning Remkyn Analyze This.

I work at the Adelaide Hills Animal Hospital as a dog groomer where I have worked for 12 years.

Stacey and Tyrone have been together for 4 years now and are off to Queensland for a much deserved holiday with friends.

Stacey has now left the nest leaving an empty gap (perhaps I'll have to get another dog!!!!)

She is now living in Mt Barker, which is closer to work and Tyrone.

The only way I can ever get any time away is when mum kindly offers her services as babysitter to the menagerie.

I think it is as much of a holiday for mum as it is me as she loves all the dogs.
