Remington came to me from the Montrejeau Kennel in 1993, and is my foundation dog. He was my first show dog and my first champion . He was a fantastic easy going dog for a novice like myself to learn on.
Remington won a Best Exhibit in Show at All Breeds and one Specialty BIS as a 12 month old.
He qualified for the prestigious Battle of the Champions, Foundation Cup, and theChampion of Champions competition by obtaining 3 Runner-Up in Show awards.
He was a multiple group winner and class in group winner.
His achievements far out weighed my expectations as a novice.
Remington was a wonderful masculine dog with the attitude that many poodle breeders would kill for.
Remmi beamed with a showy confidence which people in and out of the ring fell in love with. His great temperament and presence which never let me down in the ring carried him through to his other jobs in life.
He also became an important member of the Pal Super dog team, traveling through out the state performing with his best friend and companion Munchie.
Remington rounded out his career with a spell of modeling at the Grand Prix ball and also was a welcomed guest at the Helping Hand Retirement Home.
Remmi's ring finale was in Veteran's Class at the Sixth Poodle National after an absence of many years. He had a few more aches and pains but he was more than proud to carry his ribbon in his mouth for a lap of honour.
